I’ve been without TV for nearly two weeks now, so I’ve taken to watching movies and clips on the Internet. In fact, some of the movies I’ve been watching I can’t discuss with you here, but those clever people over at YouTube (now part of the Goggle empire) have come up with a really cool way for me to collect all my YouTube favourites together in one handy everlasting “streaming” media player.
So here you have it - some of my YouTube favourites - including the incredible pairing of James Brown & Pavarotti live, which always makes me cry, along with the weird and wonderful things that ordinary people get up to often in the privacy of their own homes. The mad part about the latter is that they often post their antics on the Internet for other people to watch (much better than your average reality show). The great thing about YouTube too is that you can always find all sorts of vintage material that you won’t see on your television set or buy at Amazon.com.
Let me know what you think (and please make suggestions)! I’ll be adding more clips as time goes by…
Enjoy!
